Workshop Type: Tricks Workshop for NON SOCIAL dogs
Date: Thursday 1st August 2019
Time: 5pm - 7pm
Availability: 4 teams total (spectators are welcome)
Location: Federation Building, Castle Hill Showground
Cost: $50 per working team, $20 for spectators
 

ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP:
Open to NON SOCIAL dogs, or dogs who cannot work with other dogs in the same room. This small workshop allows those who aren't suitable for group training to enjoy trick training. The class structure will be in such a way that only one dog is working at a time, while the others are to be kept in the car when it is not their turn. Owners are encouraged to watch other teams work. This is a great workshop to immerse yourself in the small details that make a big difference in training complex behaviours. 
Start the foundations of basic tricks which can be useful in teaching more advanced behaviours. Discuss the importance of timing and reward placement and work on duration and distance with tricks. We will have teams come out and work through a trick/behaviour individually, and as a group we will analyse and discuss possible influences and changes with each team. Open to NON SOCIAL dogs, or dogs who cannot work with other dogs in the same room.

Time: 7:30pm - 9pm

Availability: 7 places available

Location: Federation Building, Castle Hill Showground

Cost: $45 per working team

ABOUT THIS WORKSHOP:
This group setting class is suitable for dogs who are dog social/ or happy to work around other dogs. While we do not encourage socialisation during class, dogs need to be comfortable working close to others.
